Test of Vision and Purpose.

What is Vision?
VISION IS A MENTAL PICTURE OF A PREFERABLE FUTURE. It is the ability to see the end of a thing before the beginning. In Gen 1:26, God made male and female in his own image and likeness (all of this was in God's vision, these things were not yet in the physical, they were in the mental realm). In Gen 2, we begin to see how God actually carried out his mission to translate his vision into reality. I prophesy into your life that your dream will not die. If you can dream it, you can achieve it.
We see how that there had to be a man to till the earth before seed could grow. What about the man in Genesis 1? He was in the vision realm then. God had to put adam into a deep sleep to produce Eve. What happened to the male and female in Genesis 1? Genesis chapter 1 is an account of the mental picture of the God of all creation, Genesis 2 shows us the process. God created time so that the things in the spritual can pass through the proess of manifestation. Every thing in the spirit realm is instant (Kyrus), physically, there must be a process (Kronus).

A TEST IS A HURDLE THAT MUST BE SCALED THROUGH ON THE ROAD TO SUCCESS AND PROMOTION. It is a journey crossing a crucial point on the way to prosperity and progress. Failure to execute it leaves you on the side of defeat. Information is vital. The difference between you and the person you admire is that there is something the person knows that you do not know.

Twelve tests of destiny

Twelve is a number of responsibility. Any where worth going has a pricetag attached to it.

Test of appetite
When satan wants to test a man, he comes through hunger, desire. Scripture shows us two Adams- the first one already made and the second one made ready. The first had no prior reparation, the second was prepared- their results speak for themselves. The devil came to Eve and tested her by appetite (Gen 3:5). Man lost paradise because of  uncontrollable appetite. Appetite is not just food. Money, sex and every other thing that the body craves for comes under this heading. Gen 25:27-37 gives an account of the profanity of Esau, how he exchanged his birthright and future for a plate of pottage and lentils. Confess this: my birthright is not for sale!
Discipline humbles you (Deut 8:3). Control your appetite, put it on a leash. We have the power to do any thing but not every thing is necessary. You can control your appetites by knowledge of God's word (Matt 4:1-3). Temptation is not a sin till you have yeilded to it. What you know will deliver you.

Test of pride
pride is a negative self worth. It is an inner judgement that says " i am all in all". Pride is despising the place of others. Show me a man that has pride and i will show you the principal enemy of God. What you are now is by Grace (1 Cor 15:9-10). What makes you better than those in the grave is the grace of God. Before you begin to get ahead of yourself, remember that you are what you are by grace. Pride takes your position and gives it to others (Jn 3:27, 1 Cor 4:7).

The test of sex
Sex will either make or mar you. The only way it can make you is if it is done right. To get to your inheritance and fulfil God's purpose for your life is to pass the test of sex (Gen 39:5, 7,9-10). A man that knows where he is going to will not rush "opportunities" of today. Beware of the strange woman, beware of sex (Prvb 7:26-27, Judges 16 )! Ministers, be very careful with women and gifts. I know of a servant of God that lost  a 12year old ministry between the laps of a woman. She kept showering him with gifts until she seduced him and one day. Those fleeting moments of pleasure started the chain reaction that oblitrated his ministry. He got her pregnant and confessed to his wife and the church. His wife forgave him but he was thrown out of the church while his assistant took over. Sex and sexual immorality is a sensitive metter.

The rest of this teaching will come your way next week. I hope you had a nice time reading and i hope you have been blessed. Feel free to leave your comments.

Secrets of Divine actions.

This is a sequel to the last post on The Ways of God. I laid some foundations that are necessary to thoroughly understanding this teaching. You can read up THE WAYS OF GOD to catch on. God the Father is the most important revelation the new testament believer must catch. This revelation is the very core of the ministry of Jesus, while he was on earth and today in the lives of believers. The gospel has one objective which is to reveal to us the person and character of the Father. A man may be introduced to a child as being his father but it takes more than an introduction to have a family relationship. The child will only begin to relate well with this person the more the child comes to know this person. My emphasis being on the Word PERSON. I posed some questions in the concluding part of my last post. We will use them as a line to guide us to our destination. God bless you as you undertake this journey of the Word with me. I celebrate you. What drives God's divine actions is wh...

Orbis Unum

We witness a display of man's tendency for a unified system in the Babel episode as recorded in the book of genesis. Here we see man uniting and making himself mighty in a "one world" government. I want to answer two questions that arise from that episode: Was man's crave for a one world government (and that crave is still unsatisfied) an accident? Also, was God's refusal justified? "Orbis Unum" is the latin for "one world" and this has been the direction that world politics has been heading. From the time of Nimrod, to the Pharohes of Egypt, to Nebuchadnezzar, to Dairus, to Alexander the great, to Julius Ceasar, the list is endless. The primary motive that drove the manifestation of their dominion was Orbis Unum. Believe it or not, the Roman Catholic Church joined the party and Islam is about Orbis Unum. Why then is this drive towards a one world system? Understanding this will give insight into the direction that world politics is heading to...

The Owner of the Office knows best.

Earlier this evening I decided to cook for the family. I wanted to prepare a local delicacy popular with the Enugu people of Eastern Nigeria. It is called Okpa. It is a pudding made from the flour of bambara nuts with palm oil, pepper and a little salt. You can add pepper to taste. My son is particularly fond of it. Well, my wife is the manager of the kitchen and the store. She went to church for clean up, leaving me and my boy at home. I decided to give her a helping hand. It was she who organized the store and it was she who really knew where what was kept. I invaded her office with good intentions. But you know how that saying goes that good intentions are not enough. I had never prepared Okpa myself but I have watched her do it several times. I can learn by observation so I knew what to do. I entered into the store and got the flour I used, combining it with the other ingredients and seasoning it to taste. It was going to be delicious and I felt proud of myself. I put it on the ...
